The Ashburton Singers were founded in 1975. We have performed major concerts in the magnificent surroundings of Buckfast Abbey, and at many wonderful venues throughout South Devon. The choir have also visited France several times performing in various venues. See our 'What have we done' page for information about recent concerts.
In addition, we regularly undertake our 'Summer Tours' of local villages for performances of our varied programmes, as well as Christmas concerts in major local venues.
We also do weddings, and will of course consider singing at other functions if asked.

We meet every Thursday evening to rehearse in the hall above the Methodist Chapel in Ashburton from 8.00 pm until 10.00.
We recruit our members from a wide area of South Devon.

Being a small choir in terms of numbers means that members subscriptions
rarely meet the cost of producing concerts and general running costs.
This is an appeal for donations and sponsors!
If you would like to contribute funds, no matter how small, we would be very happy to discuss things with you.
