The choir has enjoyed singing at church weddings in South Devon for many years. We sing a wide repertoire of music, in harmony and often unaccompanied.
We are also pleased to work with the Church Organist to provide support for the congregational hymns, and in addition we are usually asked to sing during the signing of the register, and sometimes for the entrance of the bride and at other points in the service when requested.
In any case, we are happy to discuss your requirements in more detail, so please contact us by email or through the enquiry form below.
Below is a selection of hymns and anthems we have previously performed at weddings, including samples of selected pieces*. This list is by no means exhaustive, and we are happy to consider other pieces you may suggest.

All thy faithful mercies crown!

Pure unbounded love Thou art;
Visit us with Thy salvation;
Enter every trembling heart....

Lord of all hopefulness,
Lord of all joy
whose trust, ever child-like,
no cares could destroy,
be there at our waking,
and give us, we pray,
your bliss in our hearts, Lord,
at the break of the day...

Jerusalem
And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountains green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
On England's pleasant pastures seen?
And did the Countenance Divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here
Among these dark Satanic Mills?...

Forgive our foolish ways;
Reclothe us in our rightful mind,
In purer lives Thy service find,
In deeper reverence, praise....

Guide me, O thou great redeemer,
Pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but thou art mighty,
Hold me with thy powerful hand;
Bread of heaven, bread of heaven
Feed me till I want no more...

Listen |
Praise, my soul, the King of heaven,
To his feet thy tribute bring;
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
Who like me his praise should sing?
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Praise the everlasting King....

Walford Davies - I will lift mine eyes (Psalm 121)
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills : from whence cometh my help. My help cometh even from the Lord : who hath made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved : and he that keepeth thee will not sleep. Behold, he that keepeth Israel : shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord himself is thy keeper : the Lord is thy defence upon thy right hand; So that the sun shall not burn thee by day : neither the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil : yea, it is even he that shall keep thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out, and thy coming in : from this time forth for evermore.
